About Me

When I came up with the name for this blog, a friend said to me, "Wait, is that related to that thing that rappers sometimes say in their songs?" NO! I just wanted a short and sweet blog title that expressed how little my blog has to do with holographic nail polish! I am an active and proud supporter of LGBTQ rights :)

I am a graduate student who lives in the Midwest US. I have two cats and a husband, the latter of which supports me in everything that I do, unconditionally. I do just about every crafty thing possible but my greatest loves are jewelry and metalsmithing. Nail art and frankening are really special because I feel like I am being creative in a technical way and I really enjoy that! My mom was a nail tech when I was growing up, so nail-related stuff is right up my alley!

I also like makeup (I am not an expert or an everyday user though) and dressing up. I have warm toned  skin (yellow/red) and am not very pale. I say that in case you would like to know how a color I wear would look on you!

  2. Hi Nat,funny my name is Nat too,or Natalie, what I prefer to be called, anyway,I am really curious about the part of your blog title that says "NO HOLOS" Does that mean you don't like holographic polish? Not judging or anything, personally,I could take them or leave them. Not my fave finish.

    1. Hiya! Yeah, Nat is short for something :)
I don't like holo polish really. I do make exceptions when the holo is subtle. The strictly holo polishes are just kinda ugly to me and I got tired of seeing them on blogs all the time, so I came up with this name :D
